CRFRS is a regional fire service comprised of a headquarters office (HQ) and 5 stations – Condor (20), Leslieville (10), Caroline (30), Rocky Mtn House (60) and Nordegg (50), with a compliment of approximately 40 apparatus.  Five full-time staff include a Regional Chief, a Regional Deputy Chief, a Regional Assistant Fire Chief and two administrative assistants.

Three Paid-on-call Battalion Chiefs (BC Ray Moller, BC Sheldon Mehlhaff - Leslieville, Condor & Caroline, BC Kris Heemeryck – Rocky, Nordegg) and approximately 120 Volunteer (Paid-on-call) firefighters round out the compliment of staff.
Together we are responsible for providing fire and rescue services to the Clearwater County, Town of Rocky Mtn House, Village of Caroline and S.V. of Burnstick Lake.

Clearwater Regional Fire Rescue Services was established 1999 which combined the Emergency Fire Rescue Services from Clearwater County, Town of Rocky Mountain House, and Village of Caroline. With these five stations, the Fire Rescue Services provide Fire Suppression, Vehicle Extrication, Medical First Response, Water Rescue, Ice Rescue, Industrial and Farm Rescue, and Public Education services to the residents of Clearwater County and area.
